Last week, Brian and I talked about the overwhelming Artificial Intelligence fear porn making the rounds, with all the “experts” on the same page with the same talking points about the need to abandon our liberty to fight the AI threat. And on Episode 16, Ryan Matta and I talked about “Summer Davos,” the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting of the New Champions in China in June.
Building on those two discussions, this week I am joined by Patrick Gunnels, my partner on The Brief which airs Monday through Friday at 9am ET on Badlands, to discuss the World Economic Forum’s report on the Top 10 Emerging Technologies of 2023.
From flexible batteries that will make digital fabric (and trackable uniforms) a thing, to designer viruses and new metaverse applications, the WEF is brandishing the technology of our future enslavement. But more interesting than the specific technologies is the way the WEF demons are measuring impact.
